What changed

Added an anonymous quote sample library status table, required fields, review workflow, and privacy rules.

Why changed

The site needs a clear first-party data path without inventing submitted quotes or publishing private details.

Source or feedback trigger

Quote feedback workflow rollout.

Review owner

51828 Cost Research Desk. Maintained by lengyan.

Found an outdated source, unclear formula, or useful quote example? Send the page URL and details to wwang@51828.com.

Current publication status

There are no invented customer quotes in the library. A service starts showing published examples only after submissions are clear enough to review and anonymize.

Review workflow

1. Privacy screen

Check that the submission does not include personal contact details, street addresses, payment data, signatures, or contractor identifiers.

2. Scope normalization

Map the quote to the relevant calculator inputs: service type, size, location, scope level, scheduling pressure, included items, and exclusions.

3. Consistency check

Compare the quote against the visible calculator model, official context sources, public market references, and related examples.

4. Publication decision

Publish only a short anonymized summary when the scope is clear enough to help another homeowner compare bids.

5. Correction trail

If a quote changes a page assumption, update the page note or formula review trail rather than silently changing the model.

Privacy rules

  • Remove homeowner names, street addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and account numbers before sending.
  • Remove contractor names, salesperson names, license numbers, phone numbers, and direct contact details unless the information is already public and necessary for a correction.
  • Do not send photos that show house numbers, vehicles, faces, signatures, QR codes, barcodes, or payment information.
  • 51828 publishes only anonymized summaries, not raw invoices or documents.
